SRC Construction and paving were given the order to carry out all the external restoration works to this iconic building in Leeds. We worked directly for Simpsons in York and was responsible for all the external paving and landscape works. This was a particularly difficult project with regards logistics and working in the middle of Leeds City Centre, but all works were carried out to Budget and was completed on time and to the quality required for such an important refurbishment. We are also pleased to here that the Leeds Lifting Tower was awarded the Insider’s Media Refurbishment/Renovation of the year at the Yorkshire Business Insider Property Awards!

We have a contract in place to provide all boxlifting and ironworks on highways and major roads for York, Leeds, Calderdale and Bradford Councils.

We were commissioned by the principal contractor Thermamech to carry out all trench and reinstatement works including block paving repairs, York stone paving reinstatement works working in the city centre of Bradford, under strict H&S conditions over a period of 6 months.

Groundworks work to carpark including removal of islands, trench and ductwork, paving and kerbs and general maintenance.

Construction of new foundation and slabs for new workshop and showroom, including reconfiguration of the external car parks to both Mini and BMW. New ducting, trenches and full section 278 works to main entrance

We have recently completed patio works to a property in Wetherby. 55m2 of Excavation and New Flags and 22m2 of New Indian Stone Patio in Buff. All of this was completed in 3 days, leaving a very satisfied customer!

We were contracted to carry out the extension of the new valet bay. First phase complete with a 296m2 slab cast in one day. Phase 2 to commence at the end of May.

After completing the new external concrete yards within budget and a week early we were asked to price and negotiate the new drainage installation for meat and vegetable lines for Princes Food.

Working in a live environment and having to maintain production, we successfully programmed and sequenced the installation of 200m of the Naylor Drainage in line with the specification. Including the supply and installation of specialist stainless steel manholes. This is an 11 week contract and is currently still on going.

We provided external hard landscaping to prestige new build apartments, including York Stone Paving, kerbing works and tarmac.

We completed a 10 week contract where we provided the groundworks solution for new drainage, concrete footings, slabs and external tarmac to the car park. This was carried out during the pandemic and all services were completed on time and to the highest Health and Safety standards. All facilities were live during the construction.

At the beginning of 2017 SRC Construction and Paving Ltd underwent a company restructure. Simon Coates, sole Managing Director will continue to lead the company moving forward to deliver high quality engineering works on commercial and domestic projects. Jamie West, Contracts Manager will work closely with Simon to deliver successful projects and manage our team of highly skilled groundwork’s and labourers.
